Bathed
by the waters of the Cantabrian Sea, Cantabria has more than 200 kilometres
of coastline. The people of the region, the Cántabros grow up
with the seawater’s salty residue, its breeze and the dampness
of the mild climate. As a result, the Cántabros live in close
contact with nature. Whilst for many it provides a means of living,
it is a source of enjoyment for all.
This makes Cantabria the ideal place for pioneering a project that will
provide both a symbol for the region and make it stand out from other
autonomous regions.
